Emma is an author illustrator whose debut picture book, Hattie Peck, was highly commended in the Macmillan Prize and shortlisted for the AOI Awards. Its sequel, Hattie Peck: The Journey Home followed, and both are published in over ten languages worldwide. Emma was shortlisted for the Dundee Picture Book Award and recently charted in the New York Times bestseller list.
Emma has illustrated over 40 picture books and is a Senior Lecturer in Illustration at the University of the West of England.
When she’s not painting/drawing/writing you’ll find her immersed in nature, puddle-sploshing with her kids or chasing down their criminal whippet!
