Born in New Zealand, Jason grew up in the north of England. He studied illustration at Falmouth University. He has illustrated numerous picture books and fiction titles, most notably contributing to the cover artwork for the first three UK editions of the Harry Potter series. Jason’s debut fiction title We Were Wolves published in 2021.

He spends too much time wandering moorland and woodland, listening to birds, when he should be working.
