A few years ago, when she was working as a journalist and copywriter, Ruth started jotting down some of the funny things her children said. These snippets became stories and, to her delight, the first two are now being published by Nosy Crow and her debut fiction by Andersen Press. Ruth lives in rural Buckinghamshire with her family and when she’s not writing you’ll find her stepping on bits of lego, burning fish fingers and trying to convince the children that there really isn’t room for a dog.
